WHEREAS, The School District of Philadelphia proudly maintains a 70-year tradition of an all-city music program featuring exceptionally talented high school students from across the city; and WHEREAS, With only a week to prepare, the Philadelphia School District’s All-City Orchestra, consisting of 90 instrumentalists and 10 vocalists, quickly prepared to represent their entire city with excellence on the global stage at Wrestlemania XL; and WHEREAS, Wrestlemania XL is one of many internationally recognized events that brings critical economic opportunities to Philadelphia and showcases all that Philadelphia has to offer to the global scene; and WHEREAS, WrestleMania XL, the 40th annual WrestleMania, occurred on April 6th and 7th, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field, setting a new attendance record with 145,298 fans over the two-night event, making it the most attended WrestleMania in history; and WHEREAS, On the second night of the event, student musicians from the Philadelphia School District's All-City Orchestra performed for a sold-out crowd of more than 70,000 fans, center-stage at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, as the dynamic WWE Superstar Roman Reigns entered the arena; and WHEREAS, With their performance, these Phil…
