WHEREAS, National Coding Week is an annual event that encourages individuals of all ages to explore coding and programming, problem-solving skills through various activities, and promotes digital literacy; and WHEREAS, National Coding Week is designed to make coding accessible to everyone. It aims to develop skills in computational thinking, a problem-solving process that uses patterns, math, and logic to find solutions; and WHEREAS, The theme for National Coding Week 2025 is “Embracing AI and the Future of Work.” This theme focuses on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on software development and highlights how AI can enhance coding skills rather than eliminate them. National Coding Week events seek to explore how AI can improve productivity for developers, prepare individuals for a future workforce influenced by AI, and serve as a learning companion for beginners; and WHEREAS, National Coding Week emphasizes the importance of digital skills and aims to further inspire individuals of all ages to explore careers in the tech sector and engage with technology.
