Authorizing encroachments in the nature of a sidewalk cafe in the vicinity of 229 South 45th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, under certain terms and conditions. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted to the owner of the property identified below, currently, TEDLA ABRAHAM (the “Owner”), to install, own, and maintain an encroachment at the Property, as follows: Encroachment Description: Property: 229 South 45th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 D/B/A Abysinnia A total of five (5) tables and eleven (11) seats for a sidewalk café will be located along the east sidewalk of South 45th Street and the north sidewalk of Locust Street along the property line of 229 South 45th Street written in two parts: Part 1 One (1) table and three (3) seats will be located adjacent to the building of 229 South 45th Street and will encroach a distance of approximately four feet (4’-0”) towards the west along the east footway of South 45th Street starting from a point approximately twenty-one feet two inches (21’-2”) north of the Locust Street north curbline to a point appropriately five feet six inches (5’-6”) farther north leaving a minimum six feet (6’-0”) of clear unobstructed footway.
