Authorizing and ratifying Councilmember O’Neill’s appeal, on behalf of and as representative of City Council, of the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to 4100 Orchard Lane. WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution No. 240049, Councilmember Brian J. O’Neill intervened in an appeal, on behalf of and as representative of City Council, of the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to 4100 Orchard Lane, docketed in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County at March Term, 2024, No. 00399; and WHEREAS, The Council had intended by Resolution No. 240049 to authorize Councilmember O’Neill to be a party to such an appeal on its behalf; and WHEREAS, The Council wishes to reaffirm that prior authorization and, further, to ratify Councilmember O’Neill’s authority to file the appeal on behalf of and as representative of the Council; and RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That Councilmember Brian J. O’Neill had full authority to intervene in and thereafter as a party therein to prosecute and defend, on behalf of and as representative of this Council, the appeal of the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to 4100 Orchard Lane, docketed in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County at March Term, 2024, No. 00399; now, therefore, be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That this Council ratifies all steps taken to date by Councilmember O’Neill on behalf of and as representative of Council with respect to said appeal.
