Confirming the reappointment of Joyce Wilkerson to the Board of Education of the School District of Philadelphia. WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 12-201 of the Public Education Supplement of The Philadelphia Home Rule Charter, the Mayor, with the advice and consent of a majority of all the members of the Council, shall appoint members of the Board of Education from names submitted to her by the Educational Nominating Panel; and WHEREAS, Mayor Cherelle L. Parker has sought Council’s confirmation of the reappointment of Joyce Wilkerson to the Board; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA, That the reappointment of Joyce Wilkerson to the Board of Education of the School District of Philadelphia, to serve in the term ending April 30, 2028, is hereby confirmed.
