Declaring April 4, 2025, as Women in Tech Day in the City of Philadelphia, and recognizing the importance of women in technology, emphasizing their contributions, promoting STEM education and careers for women and girls, and expanding gender equity in the technology field. WHEREAS, Women in Tech Day, celebrated on April 4 th , is a global observance that honors women’s contributions to the technology industry. This day has grown into a worldwide movement that unites companies, organizations, and various groups to support a more inclusive and diverse tech environment; and WHEREAS, Starting in 2024, Women in Tech Day marks a day of celebration and truly embodies the sentiment that “Women in Tech Day is Every Day”, which is a phrased coined by the Founder Anna Radulovski; and WHEREAS, The WomenTech Network spearheaded the International Women in Tech Day, which has cultivated support from 200 community partners worldwide. This global movement has fought to increase action towards greater gender inclusion in tech, gain recognition, and foster awareness for women and girls in technology; and WHEREAS, The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Women Tech Network Anna Radulovski launched the WomenTech Network in 2017.
