WHEREAS, Tumar Alexander is a lifelong Philadelphian and a seasoned public servant, whose 24 years of dedicated service to the City of Philadelphia have spanned across four mayoral administrations, exemplifying a profound commitment to the City's growth and well-being; and WHEREAS, Tumar attended William Penn High School and Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a degree in political science, laying the foundation for a distinguished career in public service; and WHEREAS, Throughout his distinguished career, Alexander has held key roles in operations, policy, legislative, and external affairs, consistently demonstrating leadership and vision in various capacities that have directly impacted the efficiency and effectiveness of City government; and WHEREAS, Alexander's journey into public service began with his volunteer work on one of former Mayor John F.
